Car Review
A JavaFX desktop app for keeping a list of cars, with its own login and registration.
- Login and registration screens. Passwords are stored as salted PBKDF2 hashes.
- A dashboard with a table where cars (brand, model, type, colour) can be added, edited and deleted.
- Data access is split into DAO classes (CarDAO, UserDAO) on top of a MySQL database.
- The screens are written in FXML, with controllers kept apart from the models.
What I would change: Use a stronger hashing setup (1,000 iterations is low today) and move the database settings out of the code.
